About IWC

The International Women’s Club (IWC) is a non-profit organization that unites expats living in Santo Domingo. We are a vibrant and inclusive English-speaking community that serves as a haven for passionate and diverse women. Our unity is forged by a common vision of fostering friendship, driving positive change, and unlocking the vibrant essence of life in the Dominican Republic.

Established in 1998 and primarily composed of expatriates, our club has been extending a warm embrace to newcomers for over two decades. We take pride in our legacy of offering a diverse range of engaging activities that have enriched the lives of countless individuals who have been part of our community.

The International Women’s Club has been administered on an entirely voluntary basis by its members since its formation in 1998. The Executive Board has 7 members: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Activities Coordinator, Fundraising Coordinator, and Charities Coordinator. We are very blessed with the help of 4 other ladies who support the board on specific themes and/or in case of holidays.
